J + K’s wedding day began at the JAG Hotel, where their favourite people moved between getting-ready spaces, sharing snacks, drinks, laughter, and the occasional search for something that had been “right there a minute ago.” It felt relaxed and genuine. Less like a carefully staged production and more like a celebration already in progress. Surrounded by love in every form, they were able to begin the day feeling supported, celebrated, and completely themselves.

Their first look brought all the emotion. When Julie stepped out of the elevator onto the eighth floor it was as though everything around them stopped. The way they looked at one another carried the excitement, nerves, and overwhelming realization that their wedding day was finally here.

That same sense of connection carried into their ceremony. Their deeply personal vows left very few dry eyes in the room, while the lighting of the Kudlik brought a meaningful tradition into the celebration. Every detail felt intentional and true to their story, reflecting not only the love they shared but the life they were choosing to build together.

The reception was every bit as joyful as the rest of the day. Heartfelt speeches, incredible food, games that had everyone rolling with laughter, and great music kept the room full of energy. Then the lights went down, the light-up dance floor switched on, and their guests understood the assignment. The celebration quickly turned into a full-on dance party, complete with the very best Baymen wedding tunes. The perfect ending to a wedding filled with personality, emotion, and so much love.
